1974 – Drought, 2024 – Malaria and an unknown disease…
The Malian government has never hesitated to take advantage of any opportunity to accelerate the genocide against the Azawadian people.
Is this a coincidence? Or is it made to look like one? Many misdeeds are made to look like a coincidence. But in the case of the 1974 drought, there is documented evidence. The drought forced the Azawadians off their land… And the Malian government used the drought to let the Tuaregs starve to death.
And an important document from the French Embassy in Niamey reveals how the Malian state authorities committed genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Azawadians already in the 1970s by using the drought to starve them.

The 2 Photos on the top left side are from the 1974 drought and the document proving that the Malian government used the drought to starve the Tuaregs of Azawad. The photos on the right and bottom are images of the malaria and unknown disease outbreaks along the Algerian border around the Tinzawatine region in 2024.
IT WAS USED AS MEANS OF GENOCIDE!
Fast forward to this year, 2024. The sound of digging graves was heard daily, people were dying in droves. Only a few local organizations and the organization Azawad Solidarity were able to send medicines and clothes to the refugees in Tinzawatine.
Climate change brought excessive rains to the Sahara and with the rains came diseases like malaria and diphtheria.
This affected the entire region, but it especially affected the Azawadian people and they died in droves! Graves were being dug daily in the refugee camps along the Algerian border.
Organizations that wanted to bring medicines were denied access to the affected areas by the Malian authorities. At the same time, they attacked as usual with Turkish drones.
An unknown disease was discovered and suspected to be the result of some chemicals put in the drones, and the animals began to have defective offspring. Wasn’t the epidemic exploited to accelerate the ongoing genocide against the Azawadian people?
THE DAMAGE OF TOXIC CHEMICALS FROM DRONES IN AZAWAD
There are several reports of suspected use of chemicals in drones by Fama and Wagner, which allegedly caused unknown diseases in the populations and malformations in animals. The use of chemical and biological weapons is, according to the UN, unacceptable in all contexts and circumstances and is considered a crime against humanity. Drones containing chemicals are suspected in the case of the Azawadian refugees, an illegal weapon used not on the battlefield but against civilians.

These images are screenshots from a video showing deformed animal offspring and it is believed that this is due to the chemicals used in drones. What did the innocent animals do to deserve this? And the people who catch this unknown disease? This is also a part of the scorched earth policy, aiming to exterminate everything that lives, even nature.
Across Azawad, where there is no clinic or even a first aid kit, more than 100 people die every day from diseases caused by poisoned wells and biological weapons used by FAMA and the Wagner mercenaries. That people get sick and die from an unknown disease has been reported, and the suspicions that Fama and Wagner are using biological weapons against the innocent civilians in Azawad is not just imaginations. And to point out also that these suspicions are coming from different directions as well, both from within and from outside of Azawad.
A new video emerged yesterday on social media showing how animals also are affected. The video showed how animals are born deformed due to these chemicals used in the drones which affect the whole environment. These effects may also potenially spread to neighbouring countries causing environmental disasters.
Yes the consequences of the Malian army’s drone bombings are being felt even in animal life. The deformed calf that was born because of the toxic chemicals dropped, is bearing witness to the devastating tragedy on populations and the environment. And all this is happening because they want the Azawad land and its recources, and the people already living there is a “problem” they want to get rid of – by exterminating them. They have tried since 1960… and not been able to kill them off, so now they also try with chemicals as it seems.
CHEMICAL WEAPON DEFINITION
Toxic chemicals are defined as “any chemical that can cause death, temporary incapacitation or permanent harm to humans or animals” regardless of their origin or of their method of production. Chemicals that are used for the production of toxic chemicals are called precursors. Any munitions or devices specifically designed to inflict harm or cause death through the release of toxic chemicals such as artillery shells, missiles, bombs, mines, mortars or spray tanks are included in the definition of chemical weapons.
Any equipment specifically designed for use ‘directly in connection’ with the employment of the munitions and devices identified are lso included as chemical weapons. A toxic or precursor chemical may be defined as a chemical weapon depending on its intended purpose and is defined as a chemical weapon unless it has been developed for purposes not prohibited by the Convention.
A toxic or precursor chemical may be defined as a chemical weapon depending on its intended purpose and is defined as a chemical weapon unless it has been developed for purposes not prohibited by the Convention. Toxins are toxic chemicals produced by living organisms.
These are considered as both chemical and biological weapons when used in violation of the Convention. There are also a number of toxins that are synthetic. The Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) prohibits chemical weapons.

Excerpt from “Words lack emotions/Victor Hugo”, by Tohima Ag Liblina:
Today, the peaceful populations of Azawad, forced to flee executions and state terrorism orchestrated by the Bamako military junta and its Russian Wagner mercenaries, find themselves between a rock and a hard place. These men, women and children, in search of refuge or simply a better life, are desperate to escape this turmoil, by crossing the borders to neighboring countries, where they still hope to find a haven of peace.
But on the one hand, Algeria, with its almost closed borders, denies them not only access, but also refugee status, thus depriving these wandering souls of essential, yet vital, social services. On the other hand, they face incessant bombings, orchestrated by the Bamako junta and its mercenaries, using Turkish drones to sow death in the fallback areas.
In Tinzawatine, thousands of families survive in unworthy and unimaginable conditions, plunged into extreme poverty. Abandoned by everyone, they have received no help, neither from neighboring countries nor from humanitarian or human rights organizations. And to add to their despair, a devastating epidemic strikes relentlessly, taking dozens of lives every day.
According to research conducted by a doctor on the ground, this disease is the result of chemicals released by drone strikes, combined with the famine that has been eating away at these families for months. Every day, they brush with death, not only because of the war, but also from disease and hunger.
Nothing has changed.
Nothing will change until Azawad gains its independence.
