THE VOICE OF A CHILD OF AZAWAD.

I will try to translate what a child from Azawad addresses as a message of encouragement to his people.

These words represent: Courage, Resistance, and Endurance. Despite the infavorable conditions in which the child finds himself, he bravely and precisely expresses the three evils he faces daily – Fear, Wagner, and Drones.

And that’s not all; he is also seeking solutions.

“People of Azawad…

How are you? What news do you have? Send me clothes and shoes to protect me from the cold, and drive out these evil people (Russian mercenaries).

My name is Alya, and the cold weather has begun.

Drive these infidels (Russian mercenaries) far from our land.

They have been sowing terror for over a year now.

The drone has worn us down…”

This poor child has been forced to endure war since birth (for his survival, he is compelled to resist).

A child, a social case.

The world is strange; this child shouldn’t have to worry about issues like peace and security. He should be protected, housed, fed, and have access to education.

Even worse, the child is crying out.

And publicly appealing for support. Unfortunately, it seems the media isn’t picking up the voices in the wilderness.

Because the media is saturated with certain conflicts (that are profitable…) causing other conflicts – like the one in Azawad – to remain in silence. What also is sacrificed on the greedy altar of profit is human rights, which seems to not be respected anymore. That in itself is a threat to the whole humanity.
