On the day of Aid Al_Adha, the old mosque in the Alyou neighborhood of Kidal was destroyed in a strike led by the junta and Russian mercenaries of Africa corps.
But by deliberately destroying the mosques and civil infrastructures of Kidal, the junta only exposes its inability to re-invade this Azawadian city. So they resorted to their usual hatred and blind revenge, a part of their scorched earth policy – bombing children, the elderly and sick, animals, trees and now this mosque… It´s the height of cowardice.
This only exposes the weakness of the junta and the russian mercenaries, as well as their blindness, since they expected the mosque to be full of people, hoping for a great number of dead victims. This is a clear sign of desperation.
This raises widespread concern about the protection of religious and historical symbols, and calls for human solidarity and the opening of a transparent investigation that guarantees truth and justice.
The victory of Azawadians and freedom for the people from the tyranny and oppression since more than 60 years is coming even if they bomb a thousand mosques…
