AZAWAD: SEVERAL TUAREG CIVILIANS MASSACRED TODAY BY THE MALIAN ARMY AND AFRICA CORPS (ex WAGNER) IN ECHAL, ESSAKANE, TIMBUKTU.
Pictures on the social media right now shows really brutally massacred victims in the village of Echal Horo where they massacred many people including children. Civilian people are slaughtered under the pretext of fighting “terrorists”, but why are the real terrorists not targeted? the answer is because they are not the target, it`s always Azawadian civilians (and their animals and trees.)
It´s these massacres of civilians together with the long history of marginalization and injustice that is reason for the armed resistance in Azawad. But incapable of confronting the freedom fighters/separatists, Azawad Liberation Front (FLA), whose positions they know all too well, the Malian army and its Russian accomplices prefer to terrorize and massacre unarmed civilians!
They act only out of barbarity, savagery and cowardice, and then they celebrate themselves as victorious and write press releases stating they have “neutralized terrorists” (even it was a donkey hit by a drone) when all they do is slaughter innocent civilians and animals.

Statement of Condemnation of the Ichal Massacre
The Azawad Political Forum condemns in the strongest terms the horrific crime that took place at the weekly market in the Ichal area of the Tonka district in the Timbuktu region, which resulted in the killing of seventeen civilians during an operation carried out by the Malian Armed Forces and the African Legion.
The weekly market was transformed into a scene of violence and murder, in flagrant violation of all human values and international law. This operation was accompanied by widespread looting and destruction, including the seizure and burning of vehicles and motorcycles, the destruction or confiscation of civilian property and goods, and the seizure of livestock, which represents the primary source of livelihood for dozens of families.
The Azawad Political Forum calls upon the United Nations, international and regional human rights organizations, and all actors in the international community to take immediate action and end the silence surrounding the repeated violations against civilians in Azawad.
The Azawad Political Forum reiterates its full solidarity with the families of the victims and those affected, expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the deceased, wishes a speedy recovery to the injured, and calls for the protection of civilians and the guarantee of respect for the rules of international humanitarian law in all circumstances.
