Imouhagh International is following with deep concern the serious human rights violations that have reportedly occurred in recent days in the Kidal region. According to information and testimonies gathered by the organization, the Malian Armed Forces and Russian mercenaries from Africa Corps have allegedly carried out drone attacks against civilian populations, using bombs containing highly toxic chemicals.
The same sources also report acts of extreme cruelty inflicted on civilians. The provisional death toll is estimated at 15 to 20 civilians killed in recent days, primarily traders and herders.
Imouhagh International calls for the immediate launch of an independent international investigation to verify these allegations, establish the facts, identify those responsible, and ensure that the perpetrators of these acts are held accountable under international law.
