For decades, Azawad and its inhabitants have faced all sorts of atrocities and bombings targeting innocent civilians: women, babies, children, the elderly, Fulani, Arabs (Maures), and Tuaregs. Despite all this, there has been no outrage or condemnation, not even once, from Malian civil society, religious scholars, politicians, or intellectuals, whether pro-junta or staunch opponents in exile.
The Azawadians recognize all those who burn them alive in public, and they could easily take revenge on the civilians against those perpetrators of these heinish and grief atrocities. These populations live in towns and along the riverbanks completely defenseless, but the greatness, faith, and patience of the courageous Azawadian fighters have prevented them from committing the acts of cowards, hypocrites, and infidels.
Throughout all the battles, they captured prisoners whom they maintained in a fine manner, and despite all this, – these cannibalistic thugs (Russian mercenaries and Fama) do nothing but prey on innocent civilians, women, children, and the elderly.
Bombing them with drones and missiles, decapitating them, even cut off head, arms and legs of a young Tuareg man to form a nazi swastika in the sand, cut off tongues to make trophy necklaces, commit cannibal acts, and it goes on and on with their atrocities to the point of becoming unbelievable, unless you have seen the videos and pictures. And for the record, they are numerous, they have also been verified as real.
But a believer has limits. The Azawadians are changing their previous attitudes, which only exacerbated the killings and atrocities committed on civilians. There will no longer be prisoners; those already detained will receive treatment befitting those who kill innocent people, burning their property, slaughtering their livestock, etc.
In other words, Azawad have had enough.
Suffering atrocities and genocide since 68 years and still maintain exemplary treatment of prisoners is showing a great deal of patience. But no patience is eternal, all patience has an end and that end is now. We hope that the Azawad Liberation Front continues to uphold their dignity and ethics, even though it’s an “eye for an eye, and tooth for a tooth” situation. But sometimes evil must be driven out by force.
A peaceful solution to this war? unless it´s too late, that will only happen if Azawad gets the justice they deserve – after decades of suffering by the hands of successive Malian governments, and since 2022, criminal Russian mercenaries, and the shameful complicity by large parts of the Malian population, as well as the silence by the international community.
Where were they during the past sixty-eight years in which soldiers of the Malian military junta committed massacres against civilians in Azawad? Malian public opinion even seen innocent Tuareg/Arab and Fulani civilians being burned alive in the streets!
There is a vast difference between the death of a soldier on the battlefield and the massacre of civilians.
THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM – is the force-attachment of Azawad to Mali that was done by France at the time, which resulted in grave marginalization, racism and oppression from the successive Malian authorities, which is what led to the rebellions, and so it has been the past 68 years.
THE SOLUTION – is to separate Azawad and Mali, because they have NOTHING in common, they never had, this annexation is a grave post-colonial error that has never been resolved.
Let the Azawadian people live again in peace of their land which was stolen from them after colonization, without them being constantly bombed, decapitated, raped, burned and massacred only because of who they are, and because they resist against oppression.
Long live a free Azawad.
