Tuareg villagers fleeing into the wilderness before the advance of the Malian military and Wagner in the Léré region. The photo is a printscreen of a video where you can hear the children is screaming “Azawad” …. Here is a people who clearly fight for their land.
Source of the picture is Inkinane on X.
How would you feel if you had to leave everything head over heels to flee out in the wilderness because armed soldiers ready to cut your head off with their machetes came to invade your village? and if you was a little child? can you imagine?
And what about if you was elderly or sick or pregnant and could not move fast enough?
The Azwadians have been victims of injustice and persecution by Mali, and their demands for the creation of their state are based on the right to self-determination, a right guaranteed by international law.
