A Malian army drone strike this night of March 21-22, 2025 in Achibagho killed yet more innocent civilian innocent people in Azawad. The victims this time were an infant, a little girl and two women. A woman and a child were killed instantly, and another woman was injured.
A genocide is underway in Azawad, and it is taking place in deafening silence, while the suffering of the Azawadian people remains largely ignored.
When will it stop? The silence is almost total. They are truly innocents.
Who are not innocent are the Malian army, Wagner and Turkey who sell these drones to military regimes performing genocides, as well as everyone who supports them and indirectly everyone who keep their silence when they could have done or said something. History will remember and justice will be done.
Is there any chance for a diplomatic or peaceful solution, or has the situation reached a stage where it can only be responded to by force?
Were afraid that it will come to that point soon unless something happens because this is impossible in the long run. How shall they avoid innocent victims? Its on Mali to respond to diplomatic efforts… its on Mali to stop the genocide… Its on Mali to stop paying Wagner… to stop buying Turkish drones… Will they stop? honestly, we dont think so, they dont want peace or any peaceful solutions. But this is very simplified, there are more forces behind the genocide.

Toumast Info Press Release:
Once again, the people of Azawad are victims of abominable atrocities.
On the night of March 21-22, 2025, at midnight, a nomadic camp in the town of Achibagho, located in the Kidal region, was the target of a deadly strike by a Turkish Marké TB2 drone, used by the military regime in Bamako. Among the victims, an infant, a little girl, and two women lost their lives in this inhumane attack. This massacre, like so many others, is a sad reflection of the relentless violence suffered by our people.
This tragedy is unfortunately only a tiny fraction of the daily crimes perpetrated by the Malian army and its Russian mercenary allies. Every day, we witness indiscriminate attacks, bombings, and summary executions. Dozens of civilians are falling victim to bullets, victims of endless repression. The violence of these regimes and their militias knows no bounds, and not a day goes by without the blood of our people being shed.
A genocide is underway in Azawad, and the world seems to be looking the other way.
The international community, although supposed to play a mediating role and protect human rights, has proven completely ineffective in this crisis.
The passivity of the UN, the European Union, and other international organizations in the face of this violence is simply unacceptable. We question their role: what good are they if they don’t act when innocent people are being exterminated every day? We have received no meaningful aid, no pressure on those responsible for these atrocities, and their silence is complicit in the horror we are experiencing.
The time has come for the peoples of the Sahel to rise up.
If internationalism does not respond to Azawad’s call, then it is up to the peoples themselves to defend themselves. The peoples of the Sahel can no longer wait for the international community to wake up. The time has come for self-defense, unity, and total commitment. If not now, when? If we do not stand up to defend our land, our rights, and our dignity, we risk being wiped off the face of the Sahel.
Our struggle is not only against an oppressive regime, but against an international system that ignores us and allows such atrocities to continue endlessly.
We call on every conscious soul to rise up, defend Azawad, and make the voices of the oppressed heard. This is not an easy fight, but it is a just and necessary one. The survival of our people depends on it.
Silence is no longer an option. We must not allow our land to be erased, our suffering ignored, and our future destroyed. The time has come for every voice, every action, and every effort to unite in a struggle for justice, freedom, and human dignity.
We will not give up, for our cause is just, and our right to self-determination is inalienable.
