DOES THE PEOPLE OF AZAWAD NOT COUNT?

The world is strongly reacting against Russia’s latest attack on civilians in Sumy, Ukraine on april 13. And rightly so. At least 32 dead, 100 injured. Horrible. But these things happens daily in Azawad, also by Russia… (&Fama) (and indirectly Turkey) and allies.. and NO REACTION in the world whatsoever…

While the world condemns the Russian attack on civilians in Sumy, Ukraine, and expresses solidarity with the victims, the situation in Azawad remains absent from international attention. Blood is shed daily there, particularly by foreign powers such as Russia and Turkey, without eliciting similar reactions. Is this because the suffering in Azawad is not “valued”? Or is it because the victims are not part of the mainstream media image?

Here, nameless villages are bombed, and screams are buried under the rubble of ignorance.
But the voice of the desert is not silenced. It will continue to echo in the void, until it is heard.
