A CLEAR RESPONSE TO FALSE LIES
Quote from Khmidoune Ag Toumast,
Response to the lies of the propagandists of the criminal Malian regime.
First: Before talking about “terrorism” and “illegitimate relations,” it would be more honest to talk about Mali’s state terrorism against the people of Azawad.
From 1963 to the present day, the various Malian regimes have committed the worst crimes: mass massacres, forced displacement, village burnings, rape of women, plundering of natural resources, all under the complicit silence of the international community.
So, is defending one’s people and land terrorism? And would massacring innocent people be “legitimacy”?
Second: Your attempt to make people believe that the Azawad Liberation mouvements and Azawadian armed groups are collaborating with Al-Qaeda or Daesh is a deliberate lie** intended to smear a just cause. The people of Azawad have a clear political project: to reclaim their rights, their dignity, and their territory.
It was the Malian government that, unable to control the North, called upon Wagner, Russian mercenaries, and armed militias to massacre civilians.
Third: Your rhetoric about Algeria and Ukraine is nothing but a diversion. Algeria knows perfectly well that the Azawad cause is political and legitimate and refuses to fall for your false classifications.
- As for your accusations against Ukraine and its so-called drone support, it is simply an excuse to mask your military defeats against the Azawad fighters, who know their land and are fighting for their survival.
Fourth: If we are to talk about the real threat to the stability of West Africa, the facts are clear.
- It was Mali that opened the door to Wagner’s Russian mercenaries. * It is Mali that commits war crimes and genocide against the Tuareg.
- It is Mali that refuses any just political settlement guaranteeing the right to self-determination of the people of Azawad.
You accuse others to hide your failure and illegitimacy, while you are primarily responsible for the chaos in the Sahel.
Fifth: To you and to those who repeat these lies, we say:
The cause of Azawad is not a “cross-border project” as you claim, but the history of a thousand-year-old people fighting for their freedom and dignity.
Your regime, imposed by force, has no legitimacy and will never be able to break the will of the Azawadian people.
Conclusion:
Enough lies and manipulation!
Let everyone come and see in Kidal, Timbuktu, or Gao:
Who is killing civilians?
Who burns villages ?
And who defends their land and their dignity?
- The people of Azawad are not terrorists.
- They are victims of Malian state terrorism.
- And history will not forgive liars.
Long Live Azawad Freedom
