A video was released today on the social media showing a white young man being stoned to death by a black mob in Timbuktu, beaten to death and then they burned his body. Everything in public and even in front of children. Horrible and how utterly barbaric!
Only because he was either Arab or Tuareg. There´s a deadly racism ingrained versus the lighter skinned Azawadian population of Arabo-Tuaregs. Could that also be the reason (or one of the reasons) why the Malian governement apparently…is performing a genocide against them? – a systematic genocide.
And Ethnic violence is no less heinous than terrorism; in fact, it fuels it. And the terrorism it fuels is already starting to backfire against them as we have seen lately. And we say it again – this, even before the Azawad Liberation Front has even started their actions to liberate Azawad.
The question still is – how long will innocent people continue to be targeted simply because of their ethnicity?
Why is this kind of inhuman barbarism allowed to continue?
We demand an urgent investigation, the exposure of the perpetrators, and their accountability before the situation gets even worse.
We are already witnessing a human tragedy.

️Because of his white skin, he was handed over by a Malian soldier to a racist group who broke his bones alive with stones and then burned him with tires.
️The fate of 29 other detainees is unknown.
