MALI RESPONDS TO ITS BATTLEFIELD DEFEATS TO AZAWAD BY BOMBING NIGERIAN, CHADIAN AND SUDANESE CIVILIANS IN PRIVATE CARS IN TINZAWATINE

Mali Responds to its Battlefield Defeats to Azawad by Bombing Nigerian, Chadian and Sudanese Civilians in Private Cars in Tinzawatine.

On 30/07/2024, Bayraktar TB² drone strikes carried out 5 strikes, including one on the Ekhariban refugee site, the other 3 on the Inatiyara gold mining site, #Kidal region, plus Nigerian gold miners from Maradi, Chadians and Sudanese killed and wounded and the 5th strike against an abandoned armored vehicle.

The cowardice of these military forces preferring to attack defenseless civilians rather than confront the Azawad fighters (CSP-DPA) in a fair and courageous manner is appalling.

Forty Nigerian Hausas were killed in the bombings, and the wounded have not yet been counted. The Hausas have nothing to do with the conflict. They have traveled thousands of kilometers to provide for their families in unimaginable poverty, and anyone who has lived and been around the Hausas knows how kind and innocent they are, similar to the innocence of children.

We count on God and the grace of the vicar.

The Azawad Political Forum has learned with deep regret and sadness that the Malian army and Wagner mercenaries carried out an airstrike on a gold mine in the “In Attayara” area of the vilage of Tin Zawatine on the border with Algeria, which resulted in:

– About 50 gold prospectors from Niger, Burkina Faso, Chad, Nigeria and Sudan were killed.

– Four prospectors were injured.

– Three prospectors’ cars were destroyed.

– Several equipments used to extract gold and food at the site of the raid were destroyed.

In light of this great loss, the Azawad Political Forum expresses its strong condemnation and denunciation of these indiscriminate air raids that targeted unarmed civilians, which are considered a humanitarian crime against civilians.

The Forum also calls on relevant international organizations and parties to condemn the crimes committed by the Malian army and Wagner mercenaries on a daily basis and bring the responsible to justice, those crimes are considered as genocide against some Azawad communities in order to change the demographic composition of the region, their nomadic way of life and legitimate and ancestral property of local natural reseurces.
