EIGHT (8) CIVILIANS INCLUDING WOMEN AND CHILDREN PERISHED IN A DRONE STRIKE BY THE MALIAN JUNTA
This was posted earlier today on the social media, it happened last night in the Farach area west of Tombouctou. In their press release, the Malian army claims killing 7 “terrorists”, contradicting local reports and visual proof, showing casualties, among them women and children.
According to local reports, the ones targeted and killed 8 civilians, including 4 women and 2 young girls. And according to eyewitness accounts circulating on social media, a drone first struck a tent, killing a man and his son instantly and seriously injuring his wife.
Here are a few of the comments by Malians:
“That’s very good news, the army has struck the bandits, the rebels.”
“They’re terrorists.”
“It’s a good thing, even tomorrow there will be more than 30.”
“Operations continue…”
“It’s a good thing, these terrorist dogs.”
So, according to them these civilians including small children and women are “terrorists” and deserves to be massacred, because they are Azawadians of certain ethnicities. it´s all about the Malian army`s and their supporters and allies racism, make no mistake.
And then as usual, they go out with a press release lying, saying that they have “neutralized armed terrorists”, while the reality is that they massacre Azawadian civilians out of pure hate and racism, and a desire to take their land. But the Azawadians existed on the land long before the Malians even became “Malians”.
According to the junta there were “suspected movements”….and so they killed these civilians with drones. But oooh!! maybe they were making tea outside of a tent….? maybe that was the suspicious movements… or rather – a pretext to kill yet a few more Tuaregs!

Eight people lost their lives in the Malian army’s drone strike:
- Med Ali Ag Arabe, 35 years old
- Med Alfaki Ag Issadwalte, 27 years old
- Maghassa Wallet Aboudou, 50 years old
- Aïcha Wallet Baydodji, 23 years old
- Fadi Walet Almaouloud, 17 years old
And two little girls under the age of 5.

In the mean time, armed groups keeps burning fuel tankers in the south, ruining the country`s economy, and what do the junta do? they go and bomb civilians in the north, women and children, two little girls under the age of 5. Is that how to fight terrorism?
It is becoming increasingly clear to the outside world what their real objective is, the true face of Mali.
See how wrong this is? it`s wrong on so many levels.
