June 20, 2026 – A manifestation took place in Paris against the massacres in Mali (especially in the Azawad region in northern Mali) and in the central Sahel. The manifestation was held near the Russian Embassy, since it`s from Russia the mercenaries came down to Mali and Azawad, to kill innocent civilians and animals, and to burn trees, villages and destroy water wells, in a desert land where people are depending on water and livestock to live. And this they do under the pretext of “fighting terrorism”, but the terrorists are not touched by any drones or cluster bombs.
The message:
We gather to denounce the massacres, executions, and grave human rights violations committed against civilians in northern Mali, particularly in the Azawad region. We express our solidarity with the victims, their families, and all populations affected by this violence, and call for truth, justice, and the protection of civilians to be guaranteed.
Let us mobilize in large numbers to make our voices heard and defend human dignity.
A climate of terror prevails in several localities in northern Mali (in the Azawad region), where grave atrocities have been committed against Tuareg, Arab, and Fulani civilians. They have been massacred and killed by the criminal Russian Africa Corps/Wagner mercenaries and their allies in the Malian army, who are terrorizing the Azawad region.
Several speakers contributed to witness about the massacres that is taking place daily in Azawad region and also in the Sahel in countries like Niger and Burkina Faso. (This website is full of reports about it for those who does not yet know what is happening there.)
Silence kills – that`s why this manifestation took place today.
The silence around what is happening in Azawad and the Sahel must be broken and people need to speak out and act – like they did today. We urge the international community to wake up from their silence because while you`re silent people are dying everyday under bombardment of illegal cluster bombs and Turkish drones, and thousands are forced into exile.
