Statement by the Union of Azawad Youth for Media:
Wagner and the Africa Corps are not part of the solution, but a cause of suffering. Their presence in Azawad has brought killing and violations instead of security and peace.
Indeed… that is the only thing they have brought, suffering and death to the people. It`s not for nothing that the Humanitarian organizations and the International Criminal Court has reports and investigations, that there are numerous witnessing reports, pictures, videos, articles etc. It is well known.
Especially targeted are the Touaregs, Arabs (moors) Fulanis and some others and specifically (but not only) living in Azawad, which is the true and ancient name for the northern part of the colonial state that France decided to call Mali. They lived there before Mali even existed, and now they try to exterminate them.
People like the nomads living in the desert like they have done since millennia, who are killed or forced to leave the land they always lived on, to flee to countries that are not theirs, and live under horrible inhuman conditions in refugee camps. If they make it there alive. And how many families have not been broken up and torn apart?
With what right does the Malian army and their helpers, the African Legion (ex Wagner) go and kill the civilian population? “assuming” that “they are all” supporting the terrorists?
But in this case – they don`t mean the real actual terrorists who are the ones, (apart from themselves) really causing a lot of problems.
No, in this case they mean the Azawad Liberation Front, simply because they are defending their people (without targeting/killing civilians) and that, is “terrorism” according to the rulers in Bamako. Because the Azawadian resistance does not suit their agenda.
Which for one, is changing the demographics in the north (Azawad) and empty the land of its people.
So, defense is terrorism, being 3 years old and living in Azawad is also terrorism, and apparently as we all have seen, worthy to be charred by a Turkish drone. Who can forget that haunting picture of the little charred baby ?! Taking up arms in self-defense of your land and people is also considered terrorism according to Bamako.
So, they kill innocent civilians, that is clear. But here´s the burning question – what are they doing to combat the real terrorists? and who brought them in? Hint – it was not Azawad. The terrorists creates chaos that most likely is profitable to the junta, they seem to feed on it in order to stay in power.
So again, what are they doing to combat the real terrorists? There is no clear answer.
They do some halfhearted things, most likely for the show to make people believe they are fighting terrorism. They need to make it look so.
They even send drones worth thousands of US dollars to kill donkeys and birds, so they can report later on the national television that they “successfully neutralized terrorists” … They do the same with civilian people in Azawad, like when they killed a female cook and her children in their restaurant, bombed and burnt up by drones. “Terrorists” they said later.
And it`s still unclear.
What is clear is that they are performing a genocide on the Azawadian population in the name of “fighting terrorism” … But almost nobody believes that lie anymore.
