The Azwadi issue is one of the oldest justice and liberation issues in the world.
The conflict between Mali and Azawad is complicated, it`s like a rabbit hole, or a beehive, or like opening the Pandora’s box… it’s a multifaceted chaotic situation that was once planted by France. They came and occupied the country and then gave it away to a state that they themselves created, as a means of keeping the power, like a prolonged arm of colonization.
The solution? We think part is to understand that Azawad and Mali are two different countries that were forced together against the will of the Azawadian people.
And the Malian people at the time apparently did not even know what had happened. In 1960, a journalist asked passers-by in the streets of Bamako, “What is Mali?” Some of the replies were:
– “It’s very complicated.”
– “Mali is GDR.”
– “Mali is a federation… between Sudan and Senegal.”
– “Mali is a political party formed by black- African leaders.”
The answers he got reflect and confirm that there is no real definition of Mali because it is an artificial state.
There is a video with these conversations in a post about this.
The next thing to understand is that Mali and Azawad will never go together. Because for one, they are different peoples, and two, Mali is performing a genocide on the Azawadians and it has come to point now that there is no possibility of any “peace agreements”. There will never be peace between them until Azawad get its recognition and rightful independence.
Some say the Azawadians are wrongly rebelling against “their own state”, but that is to ignore and deny the history of this conflict, and that it is not the Azawadians who are the cause of this conflict, they are the victims.

Second, a state that uses external forces like the Russian Wagner mercenaries, one of the worst criminal armed groups in the world, with recruited prisoners, known for their notorious, extreme cruelty against civilians, officially labeled a terrorist group by the UK, and then using Turkish drones to kill the population? Should the Azawadians see Mali as “their own state”? that is even ridiculous if it was not for the gravity of this situation.
And the gravity of the situation goes deep. An army (the Malian forces, Fama) that has been revealed having members even performing cannibal acts on their victims, yes, cannibal acts! that is how deep it goes.
Here is a people who wants to be free, who wants to be free from the barbarity performed by people who are not them, and who do not belong to their land.
Here is a people who wants to get back their land where they and their ancestors were born, who wants a stop of the drone attacks killing entire innocent families, who wants justice, and who still resist! like they have always done against colonization, and Mali label them “terrorists”?
But that cannot last too long. Sooner or later the evil they are doing will hit back on them, in one way or another. The only solution for this situation and for the situation of the entire area is total independence for Azawad from Mali.
It is their legal right, and the issue is ancient, they have been severely wronged since a very long time (1960s).

On social media, this question was asked: What kind of regime sells the animals of the poor to pay its debts to foreign mercenaries, then commits massacres against the people of Azawad, who are plundered and massacred before the eyes of the world, while human conscience is asleep? If the international community does not act now, when will it?
