Punitive expeditions has been performed with an icreasing intesity since 2023 by Malian soldiers and Russian mercenaries to massacre, pillage and drive out the inhabitants of Azawad in an attempt to exterminate all forms of life in this area.
They use Turkish drones, abuses, arrests, murder, burning and looting. But this is not enough for them. In addition they also poison the wells to eliminate the animals and the people living there, who, for the most part are peaceful nomads.
After the Malian army and Wagner left Tinassako, the water from several wells was tested by an indigenous witness giving the water to animals. These animals died on the spot.
In addition to this locals found IEDs (Improvised exposive devices) left by Wagner around a mass grave where they found severeal bodies of killed people. Also the dead animals were trapped. An IED is an improvised explosive device, a “homemade” bomb and/or destructive device aimed to destroy, incapacitate, harass, or distract. These devices are used by criminals and terrorists. These improvise devices are capable of causing massive damage and loss of life.
The international and regional community remains silent on these crimes of the Malian junta.

In Tin-Issako constituency, the terrorists Wagner and FAMA (Malian Armed Forces) have recently intensified their activities by poisoning wells. This tactic was also spotted on the #Inounfassane area.
Their violence is no longer limited to murders, kidnappings and other atrocities. They are now using poisoned wells as a new means of terror.
This practice mainly targets poor nomadic farmers who depend on these wells for their survival and that of their livestock.
The consequences are catastrophic: all humans and animals who drink from these poisoned wells die quickly. Local sources reported several deaths, both human and animal, in the Tin-Isako district and the Enfasan site, due to poisoned water.
These actions highlight the escalation of violence and brutality committed by terrorists Wagner and FAMA in Azawad, sowing death and destruction among an already vulnerable population. May God’s punishment come soon for these terrorists, Wagner and Fama.
