THE SAHARA/SAHEL COLLECTIVE FOR THE DEFENSE OF HUMAN RIGHTS STRONGLY CONDEMNS THE DECISION BY THE INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND (IMF) TO GRANT FINANCING OF $129 MILLION TO THE MALIAN REGIME.

The Sahara/Sahel Collective denounces IMF support for Mali despite massive human rights violations in Azawad.

This funding will potentially go straight to pay Wagner and to buy more Turkish drones to kill the Azawadian population – or those who remain, we should say. It will most likely not be used for any so called “emergency funding” …!

If this funding goes through, it will be nothing but a big moral scandal. Chances are that it would be a straight funding of a terrorist junta and the Wagner criminal mercenaries to go on under the disguise of “fighting terrorism” with performing ethnic cleansing and genocide of a population who are victims of colonialism, terrible oppression, injustice, racism and genocide where blood is not spared.

Needless to say, we (and many of us) also support their condemnation statement, knowing full well that there is a very high probability that the funding will not be used for its intended purpose, but will instead be used to pay criminal murderers.

We too hope that they will reconsider its support for the Malian regime as long as it continues to wage war against its own population, and urges the international community not to remain silent in the face of this ongoing humanitarian tragedy in Azawad.

Protests in Paris against the genocide performed by the Malian junta and Wagner on innocent civilians in Azawad.

We say NO to the shedding of innocent blood in Azawad!
