Lately, there has been an increase of violent drone attacks in Azawad by the Malian army and Wagner, sparing nobody, not even small children, like babies.
This systematic destruction of everything living in Azawad continue unabated under the leadership of the terrorist junta in Bamako. On this day, march 24, the next drone attack did hit a civilian vehicle in Mandiakoye, a town located about 40 km west of Gourma Rharous. This past week there has been, as far as we know, about seven attacks against civilians with many dead and injured.
The Russian Wagner mercenaries, call them what you want, who are the ones directing the Malian army… they are not in Azawad (or in the Sahel generally) to “secure, instruct, protect or liberate”. They are criminal paid murderers officially classified as a terrorist organization in for example the UK, carrying out dirty work paired with robbing the country`s riches under the cover of a discourse of “stability.”
Since the arrival of the Wagner Group mercenaries and their military support for the Malian armed forces, the people of Azawad have faced an escalation of indescribable violence.
What stability? and for who? And how long will the world keep silent?
