Illias, affectionately known as Ella by his close ones, was much more than a friend. He was a brother, a guide, and an inexhaustible source of inspiration.
This is his humble attempt to write a tribute to his memory as a way to pay tribute to the beauty of his life, his simplicity, his depth of character, and the impact he had on all those who knew him.
This is the introduction of an upcoming tribute book of Illias Alhassan Mohamed, who was the rhytm guitarist in the band of Bombino and who tragically passed away on sept 27 in 2020.
