Report of 10-06-26:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZAWAD IS STILL STANDING, DESPITE BEING BACK TO SQUARE ONE<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If reports are accurate because they are not officially confirmed yet, the toll after the battle of Anefif would be extensive human and material losses among the “Afrika Korps,” the Malian army, and the local militias loyal to them, but not to their own people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Loss toll for the Malian Armed Forces, Afrika Korps, and their local supporters:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Russian mercenary convoy that did set out from Gao to come and rescue their camerades trapped in Anefif became a target of ambushes and shelling disrupting their mission, and 11 vehicles were destroyed. There were also dead and wounded among the ranks of the Malian army and the Russian Afrika Korps, including a field commander. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further, sources report that 13 among the Afrika Korps were killed (bodies currently being held in Anefif). And 9 were wounded receiving medical treatment. And a toll of 10 dead members of the local pro-junta militias have been buried in Tabankort. Several other members are being buried in Anefif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seventeen wounded (FAMa and auxiliary forces combined) were recorded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attaher Ma\u00efga was seriously wounded and required a tourniquet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UPDATE:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The number of FAMa soldiers killed remains undetermined, as their bodies could not be recovered from the area. But unconfirmed reports states – deaths Afrika Korps (ex-Wagner) 62 and 124 wounded, FAMa, 105 deaths, 87 prisoners and 90 wounded. Local militias 26 deaths and 79 wounded. The toll was updated 15th of july.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Loss toll for Azawad :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the Azawad side, sources reported the destruction of 3 vehicles, 3 fighters killed, and a number of wounded. May God have mercy on our martyrs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Material losses are as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Five vehicles were destroyed by the Azawad Liberation Front.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two Afrika Korps vehicles were lost due to mechanical failures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wounded from these engagements were evacuated to Gao for treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This reflects a clear difference in the cost of the battle between the two sides, if the circulating field numbers are confirmed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An Afrika Korps\/FAMa and allies reinforcement convoy still reached Anefif, and the Azawad forces have withdrawn to regroup. And that`s where the situation is at now, the Afrika Korps is back in control of Anefif and the Azawad forces are regrouping, but everything is still not lost, far from it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And… the struggle continues until the complete liberation of Azawad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Statement by the Defense Officer of the Azawad Liberation Front (FLA), Colonel Mbarek AKLY: To those who still wonder who emerged victorious from the battles of Anefif, Anou-Malan, and Tabrichat, we tell them to go to the battlefield: they will see for themselves who secured the victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If Mali claims to control Anefif, we affirm that we are present there. Mali will eventually leave, while we will remain here, as well as throughout our entire Azawad territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for those in Gao, Timbuktu, and M\u00e9naka, let them have no illusions: these regions remain central to our objective of total reconquest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
