A Message to Azawad Officials and Activists Defending the Azawad Cause:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The disinformation campaigns have reached a point where silence is no longer an option. Therefore, the responsibility does not fall solely on political leaders, but also on every official, activist, and media professional who believes in the justice of the Azawad cause. Remaining silent about narratives disseminated without evidence allows them to be perceived as “facts” by those unaware of the reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am not trying to impose my convictions on anyone, nor am I demanding that anyone adopt my position. Everyone has the right to their opinion. However, no one has the right to replace the truth with propaganda. Those who possess evidence should present it to the public, and those who do not should have the moral courage to remain silent, because words carry responsibility before they are opinions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some have attempted to portray the Azawad issue as a racist one or a war against Black people. This narrative does not stand up to scrutiny. The Azawad issue is not about color, race, or revenge against any people or ethnicity. Rather, it is about a people demanding to live on their land in freedom, dignity, and justice\u2014values \u200b\u200bthat do not contradict the rights of any human being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For years, people of different nationalities and ethnicities from Sudan, Chad, Niger, and other countries have lived in Azawad, working and living among the population. This reality cannot be reconciled with claims that attempt to label an entire people as racist without any evidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Terrorism is not measured by slogans, nor defined by media campaigns; its true nature is revealed through actions. Targeting civilians, killing children, women, and the elderly, destroying villages, burning livelihoods, and spreading terror among innocent people are acts that warrant condemnation and legal accountability, regardless of who commits them or what their name or slogan may be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, we call upon all Azawad officials and activists not to leave the media arena to those who fabricate narratives without evidence, and to base their responses on documented facts, responsible language, and the defense of human rights. The strength of a cause does not come from the loudest voice, but from the strength of the evidence and the justice of the position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will not base our stances on the approval of this party or that, nor will we change our principles to please anyone. What we demand is fairness, adherence to the facts, and respect for human dignity, regardless of color, origin, or affiliation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ultimately, propaganda may succeed in influencing some minds for a time, but it cannot change the truth. History is not written by those who make noise, but by facts, and the final judgment will belong to justice and to future generations who will read about these events, free from the language of incitement and propaganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, to all those following this issue: do not assume that the truth will remain visible if it is left unheard. You may think today that the truth is known to all, but times change, narratives shift, and those who remain silent in the face of injustice may one day awaken to find that falsehood has become the prevailing narrative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you believe in the justice of this cause, don’t just stand by and watch. Support all honest and documented content that serves the truth, and engage with it by sharing, posting, and expressing your opinion. Public opinion is built on the accumulation of honest voices, not on a single voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Defending the truth is not the responsibility of one person or entity, but rather the responsibility of everyone who believes in justice and fairness. History does not forgive those who fail to act, nor does it forget those who stood with the truth when the price of speaking it was high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
