On January 28, 2025, a patrol of Russian mercenaries from the Wagner group and the Malian army, leaving Kidal, burst into Amassine where they beheaded five civilians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After continuing their route to other localities in the Kidal region, this same patrol caused significant material damage, including the theft of property, destruction of homes and social infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While firmly condemning these terrorist acts, the FLA calls on the international community and urges it to react to this open-air ethnic cleansing campaign carried out on the instructions of the Bamako military junta. The FLA offers its most sincere condolences to the families bereaved by this barbarity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
