On the occasion of the anniversary of Azawad\u2019s declaration of independence, units of the Azawadian army are solemnly commemorating this historic event & have released a formal statement<\/a> addressed to both national & international audiences, reaffirming their message & aspirations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We ask God Almighty to have mercy on our martyrs, free our prisoners, and grant victory to Azawad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
