The Defense Minister of the Azawad Liberation Front (ALF) wishes to extend his most sincere congratulations to all Azawad fighters for their bravery, discipline, and decisive commitment in recent developments on the ground.
He expresses his profound gratitude to the youth of Azawad, whose courage and selflessness have been central to this historic moment.
The Defense Minister also pays tribute to the women and girls of Azawad, whose resilience, support, and dignity have been an essential pillar in the face of adversity, as well as to the entire population who, despite exile, suffering, and hardship, have remained steadfast and committed to their legitimate rights.
Following the capture of the city of Kidal, the Azawad Liberation Front calls upon all citizens to demonstrate responsibility, calm, and unity. This phase demands a strong sense of duty from everyone to preserve achievements, guarantee the safety of people and property, and foster lasting stability.
The FLA reaffirms its commitment to working for the protection of civilian populations, respect for fundamental principles, and the building of a future based on justice, dignity, and cohesion.

The events in Azawad are not over… more will come. The struggle for freedom continues.
When an entire people is marginalized and oppressed, and when they are oppressed to the point of daily killings of unarmed civilians, especially of women, children, elderly and sick, all those who are defenseless.
And when the brutality reaches even to the point of cannibal acts by the junta soldiers, and when they hire foreign criminal mercenaries – (because they cannot defeat the Azawadian freedom fighters…)
There comes a point…. when enough is enough! But it`s important to remember that with wisdom and patience everything will fall into place as intended, God willing.
